Brilliant service from start to finish. Simon and the team made everything as straightforward as possible and went the extra mile to ensure a great service. They responded to my requests for changes with no problems and certainly live up to their master builders accreditation and worthy recipients of their well deserved awards. The promise of only doing one job at a time was important to us and is certainly not a gimmick. It ensures the work is completed as promptly as possible with total focus on the project. We were kept up to date all the way through and project was completed in time and to budget. You can’t ask for more. We are very much looking forward to enjoying our life changing loft. Great bunch of lads, here every day, wind, rain, or sun. Kept the building site very tidy, cleaning up after themselves every day. Very responsive to requests, and the final project is great. I've aready recommended them to a colleague for his own loft project.

We are delighted with our hip to gable end, dormer loft conversion completed by Sheffield Loft Conversions Ltd. We would definitely recommend this company.The team pride themselves on minimising their impact on customers’ day to day lives. They were all pleasant to have around and left the site looking spotless at the end of each day.Simon and Annette made great efforts to keep us updated with (at least) weekly email updates, and flexible arrangements when face to face chats needed for the more involved decisions.I think there are always some planning challenges or bumps in the road on a project of this size. Whenever there are any issues or changes of plan though, Simon was willing to accommodate. This meant we were never afraid to go to Simon with questions or concerns.Throughout the project it was clear that Simon and team were invested in completing the work to a high standard incorporating the finishes that we were after.For any small settling in fixes required after project finished, the guys have been easy to get hold of and quick to come back and sort for us.Thanks very much for all of your hard work!

We are extremely happy with Sheffield Loft Conversions and would 100% recommend them to anyone wishing to expand their living space.To expand on the summary above, we are bringing together two families and due to a clear lack of suitable homes available, we decided to go into the loft space to give us the extra space needed. This not only meant a loft conversion, as to do what we wanted to do the conversion meant the roof needed to be raised first, due to the existing loft space being at such a low pitch. As you do, we gathered quotations from specialist and non-specialist companies where it became clear the way to go was with a Company that solely focused on loft conversions. We also did our homework since the investment is significant, to a level where we checked the quoting companies on Companies House, which we totally recommend as it is surprising to see irregularities of some trading companies!Upon enquiry, Simon came out to visit us and straight away we knew this was the Company we wanted to use. From the outset there was clear communication all the way from quotation, through planning, and project timescales. Simon and his team are knowledgeable, hardworking, and always there to offer their expert guidance when needed. An added extra for us, was that they only work on one property at a time, so you are their focus and nothing is too much trouble.During the project work, you would receive a weekly log of what work they would be undertaking, so you always had an idea of what the following week would entail. As you would expect in a project this size, there were the occasional issues, well you can’t expect everything to run smoothly!! However, whatever issues arose, it was managed professionally and we were never faced with ‘it will do’. Instead, what we got was ‘no worries we can sort it no problem’. Our biggest headache, I say ‘our’ but really mean Simon and his Team, was the staircase. There was lots of head scratching, wall drawings and numerous rethinks on how they could get the stairs to work, all because of an extra supporting steel, meaning the original stairs plan wouldn’t work. However, with their experience of converting lofts, we now have a quality staircase, with a focus on head height, and because of their amazing skills we also have some extra storage mid-way up the stairs which wasn’t on the original deliverables, but such a great addition, and to top it off, they cleaned up after each day.To follow up on Sheffield Loft Conversions accreditations, they are part of Sheffield Cutlers Hall and also earlier this year winning the Master Builders Yorkshire Award and Josh winning the Outstanding Builder of the Year award... this just shows you are truly in safe hands.So, in summary, we had a great experience, absolutely no regrets and we are now looking forward to making use of our new huge space.

I literally cannot fault Sheffield Loft Coversions. We spoke to several companies about our loft and none of them even compared.Simon impressed us straight away with his professionalism, knowledge and honesty. From then on the communication from him and Annette was brilliant, a quote arrived quickly and the process was so clear and smooth. They were always happy to answer questions.In terms of the actual work it was incredible and we are so pleased with our finished loft. Josh, Richard, Malcom and Simon were so easy to work with and have around us for 8 weeks. Kind, genuine skilled people. Our three year old misses saying good morning to them and Richards response of "ey up pal!"Any small issues were dealt with quickly and easily and everything was communicated to us throughout we were always kept in the loop. The finished loft is done to perfection and we could not be happier. It all finished on time and on budget. Our tiny attic is now two beautiful bright and airy rooms.Highly recommend choosing these guys you won't regret it! Lovely, down to earth family company who take a lot of pride in their work.

Simon and his team were engaged in our dormer conversation right from the start, providing a realistic price for the job which was clearly communicated. His genuine approach and interest in our project secured him the job from the start.He kept in touch prior to the job starting. Once the job had started he and his team made quick progress. They ensured both our and our neighbours properties were respected to avoid damage during the construction.The job was mainly completed on schedule, with all snagging noted and agreed for resolution. Simon has been back since to ensure that issues identified are resolved to mutual satisfaction; snagging points were discussed on the phone or in face to face conversations to work out the right resolutions that we could both agree on.Thanks once again to Simon and his team for helping us to gain the extra space we wanted in our home.

Building quality, joinery, plumbing and electrical, all absolutely fantastic.We had a few bumps in the road during building, but Simon communicated, acknowledged and found a solution. He really does put the customer first.He even came back to sort an existing problem with the chimney when he had time after our job. Man of his word, would highly recommend to anyone considering a roof extension.

From the first chat with Simon, both me and my husband felt at ease to go ahead with a loft conversion. Every step of the way we were informed with what was going on. We can’t recommend Simon and the team enough. Right from the beginning we got a good impression. When we contacted them for a quote, they answered calls and emails promptly. Simon came round, had some great ideas and sent us a realistic quote. Simon, Josh & Ethan have worked so hard. From the first day they were reliable, friendly and polite. Communication was excellent. Sheffield Loft Conversions Ltd have done a fantastic job on my attic. All the way through the process they worked with me. I'm really happy I chose to go forward with them. The team were friendly and knowledgeable and always had a good joke in them.Prices have gone through the roof recently (pardon the pun) and they were the only company to openly talk to me about cost and gave me a new competitive quote tailored to my requirements, cutting out the basic things that I could do at the end like woodwork and painting, so that I could afford to go ahead with the build.The fact they work on a single property at any one time also makes a massive difference. They were here everyday and took the dirt/grime out the roof and not through the house. The scaffolding was only up for four weeks.As they removed the existing walls in my attic there was a couple of issues found. I required a new purlin which they supplied and fitted and didn't charge me for the extra work.My biggest regret is that I went with a centre-hinged Velux on the back of the house. We have a top-hinged Velux on the front and it is ten times better. Recommend top-hinged Velux in all cases when you get your attic done.All in all, I highly recommend Simon and the team.Thanks again for all the hard work!

What's not to like! From our first meeting with Simon we knew we had found a professional builder as he kept reminding us about keeping to our budget. He advised us where windows/ french doors would be made so we could go and look.For roof windows,radiators,sockets,switches we had choice and there was no issue if we asked for something different. All Simon's team were polite and helpful. Dave and Josh arrived every morning at 8.00 and started work straight away. There was no loud music and they tidied up and cleaned up all the mess each night. We were without a kitchen but they plumbed the washing machine in each night and left us with hob and oven as long as possible.Simons team of electricians, plasterer and plumbers were efficient and did not rush us into making choices. Simon liaised with our Kitchen fitters to ensure all would be ready for them. We took Simon's advice on rendering and are extremely happy with that as well.We were informed every Sunday evening of the weekly schedule. Simon was happy to accommodate the extra work and items we asked of him and his team.We are more than happy with the amazing transformation of our downstairs living area with an extended kitchen, new vaulted roof with velux windows and a garage conversion into a snug and utility room also with new roof. Everything was completed within budget and the team were always willing to go the extra mile to make everything perfect.

Thank you Simon & team for your work on our home.I would absolutely recommend Sheffield Loft Conversions. They've just finished our project and we're really happy with both the outcome and our experience with the company.The work has now been finished on budget and without undue delay - and all smiling at the end of the project!For me, without any experience of having any major building work before, I was worried about stress with project management, delay and cost over run. We chose Simon for our project because I felt most reassured that he would help us with all these things.From the start their "one at a time" approach meant that we weren't competing with other customers for their time. This is something that other companies worried me when getting quotes: for example by promising to start the work sooner (and then to start sooner still when you say you made a decision to go with someone else, it tells me that if you'd do that for me, you'd do it too me also) but when Simon's team starts a project they wont leave you half finished running to start the next client.Communication was easy, Simon was on site most days and is very hands on with his core team of delivering work of a very high standard.Minor problems were solved quickly and without dispute simply because we could easily talk about what was happening or needed to happen next.The guys are extremely personable: important not only as a client to make them easy to work with but important for us since our daughter was 18minth old when the world started. I think she misses them now the work has finished. I will miss her excitement of shouting "builders!!" each morning: "Hello Simon!, Dave! Josh!"Thank you.

We were very happy with the work Simon and his team did for us recently. Their attention to detail was first class and they clearly wanted to deliver a great job as promised.Simon and the team were professional and courteous throughout with us and communication during the project was great.They did a great job from start to finish (including a top job cleaning up and ensuring we were happy with the job). Simon and his team completed a double garage conversion for us. This involved gutting the interior of the old garage, putting in a new concrete floor, stud work, Velux windows, sliding doors and building a decking. We had never taken on a project like it before and Simon was excellent at guiding us through the whole process from start to finish. We knew we could call him whenever we had any queries and that he would make sure we were totally happy with how the project was proceeding. The work was completed on time and within budget and we are absolutely delighted with the finished product. All the team were friendly and helpful. We could not recommend them more.

We had a loft conversion completed by Sheffield Loft Conversions LTD. The job was absolutely first rate. Simon and his team were marvellous. It was a big job - adding a gable end to the roof and a full staircase up to the new bedroom and bathroom in the loft. We had several quotes from various companies – some were arrogant, not friendly people, but as soon as Simon walked through the door, I knew this was the right company for us. The job was completed on time and on budget, no surprises, nor any attempts to up the price – nothing untoward throughout the job. In fact, Simon and his team devoted a huge amount effort to this, and everything worked out wonderfully. You can trust Simon and his company. If we were to have anything else done on the house, Simon would be our ‘go to’ man. We have complete faith in him.

Simon & his team did our loft conversion, we wanted something very specific as needed more than 1 bedroom up in the loft, nothing was to much trouble and the finish is impeccable we cannot fault the guys at all. It must be 7 years ago when I had a dream of having an extension, after much research and plenty of quotes, I decided to use “Sheffield Loft Conversions”. As always you are unsure when you use a builder for the first time, how the project will proceed, thankfully, Simon and his team were great. None of the vanishing early or not turning up, as they try to squeeze in other jobs. Site and original house kept clean. Finished on the time with no extra costs. Could not be better. So if you want your dreams to come true, use the dream crew. Even after all these years, was still glad to help Simon with a review for his new website.

We have had Simon do work for us a few times the past, and would not hesitate to use him again in the future should we need to. He has always been very professional and likeable. We have been very pleased not just with the final product, but also with his attitude to work, and how he expects his team to behave including keeping the site clean at all times. This was very important to us especially as our children were a little younger at the time.
